It’s been a few years since we took a gander at the Tideline 365 (to see the original review hit Tideline 365 Offshore Boat Review: Sink Your Claws Into This), a super high-end custom powercat that’s vacuum-infused. The boat proved so smooth-running on our sea trial—in a two-foot chop at 50-plus mph—that we were left slack-jawed. But back then the biggest pair of outboards you could strap onto the transom was 350s. It’s time for a quick revisit, because while you can also put quad 300s on this boat and enjoy a top-end in the mid- to upper-60s, these days there are additional options: a pair of Mercury V10 400s, Yamaha F450s, or even a pair of Mercury V12 Verado 600s.

Which outboards will be sitting at the transom? You have lots of choices on the Tideline 365.

Net result? This boat can blaze across the ocean at speeds pushing close to 70 mph with two outboards instead of four. That means lowered maintenance cost, more room for you at the transom, and if you go with the V12s, you also get all the techy perks they deliver like the two-speed transmission, contra-roatating propellers, and steerable gearcases.

The angling platform, meanwhile, remains a fish-slaying beast with two 45-gallon pressurized livewells and the option for 88-gallon wells in the deck, 16 flush-mount rodholders with additional holders available, and a mind-blowing 575 gallons of fishbox capacity. Remember that this is a custom boat, so you can order it with or without pretty much any angling accouterment you’d like including goodies like carbon fiber outriggers, swiveling rodholders, electric reel outlets, underwater lighting—whatever amounts to your dream of an angling machine.

Contact Point: Since the Tideline 365 is a custom boat there aren’t any local dealers, but they’re located relatively close by in Edenton, NC. Give them a visit at their website or call (252) 230-8566.
